Who we are
Hailey Harvey | Lead Planner & Designer
I’ve always loved the movie The Wedding Planner, but I never imagined it would actually become my job! After graduating from Ohio State with a degree in Communication and Marketing, I stepped into the corporate world, where I got to sharpen my event planning skills through company parties and team events. (I even started a company kickball team—don’t ask about our record…)
But something was missing. Then came my own wedding. I absolutely loved every second of the planning and design process and quickly realized how naturally my creativity, organization, and love for celebrating people all came together through wedding planning.
With a passion for thoughtful design and a deep appreciation for a well-structured spreadsheet, nothing brings me more joy than helping couples create a day that feels like them. Whether I’m crafting your wedding timeline, designing your dream ceremony arch, or holding your dress up for the hike to your photo spot—I’m here to make your vision come to life.
When I’m not building timelines or browsing the latest wedding trends (see our blog) you can usually find me in the garden, reading a good book, crocheting something cozy, learning carpentry from my husband, or chasing around our energetic one-year-old. I also love spending time with our two dogs, Beasley (named after Pam Beesly from The Office), and Geralt (of Rivia from The Witcher), and our six beloved chickens.
Ian Harvey | Design craftsman
As a newly inducted member of the dad's club, I'm first and foremost a husband and father that's always looking for more opportunities to spend time with his family and keep the spark alive in his young and happy marriage!
As far as day jobs are concerned, I'm a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in mechanical engineering and I work at the Honda Auto Development Center in engine development. I'm also currently working on my masters in engineering at Purdue University, which tends to occupy many of my evenings that aren't already occupied by spending time with the eponymous Hailey herself.
If the homework and honey-do list are complete, you'll most likely find me trying to learn something new, listening to and sharing music with friends, watching movies via sofa or cinema, working on a home improvement project, in the gym trying to ward of the inevitability of aging, or pretending I know how to golf!

As far as favorite wedding movies go, I have always felt like Jane from 27 Dresses, the perpetual bridesmaid sort. (Okay, so I’ve only worn a dress in 12 weddings, but still!) Wedding after wedding, I always found myself doing more and more to make sure the bride stayed stress-free the day of!
Whether it was running around barefoot in my dress to flag down the photographer, making sure the groom did NOT see his bride too soon, whipping out my emergency sewing kit to *literally* sew the bride into her wedding dress 30 minutes before walking down the aisle, politely distracting the MIL who the bride didn’t exactly want to hear complaints from, or talking a bride off the brink of tears by fixing her veil that “just wouldn’t lay right” (all true stories, by the way)--I have seen it all! And honestly? I loved every minute of it. I knew that behind the scenes I was vital in making the day's events run seamlessly, all while witnessing my people marry the love of their lives.
Fast forward a few months to when it came time to plan my OWN wedding (that’s right– I made it past the bridesmaid phase). I finally got to take all of my creative energy and DIY the crap out of my wedding dreams. Vendors and food were an afterthought when I spent months building flower bouquets and centerpieces, designing custom gifts for my bridesmaids and groomsmen, and coming up with those “wow” moments that made my wedding not only special for my husband and I, but talked about at every family gathering since!
A Spanish teacher by day and a wedding enthusiast by night, I live for the “ah-ha” moments in the classroom, but the tear-filled “aww” moments on your big day! Let me be that person for you, because that right there…is magic. Behind the scenes, I love traveling the world with my husband, cooking, playing cards, and getting myself into creative projects!
